Restoration and Operation Activities for 2025

Work continues in the care and restoration of our locomotives:

- repair vandalism by making 6976 somewhat presentable
- numberboards rehabbed from vandalism
- strobe lights on 231 re-wired
- air leaks located and addressed
- new fuel and oil filters for 231
- service locomotive batteries and cables
- updated turbocharger filter
- general upkeep and vacuuming throughout interior
- repair control stand reverser relay on 231
- drill and tap some fasteners around battery box
